CHEMET GLI SAS offers a wide range of cylinders for LPG with capacities from 12,3 l to 31,5 l.

The cylinders are manufactured according to the Transportable Pressure European Directive (TPED) and have the PI-mark and are adapted to the following operational parameters – temperature -20/+50°C can be extended to -40°C under some condition and maximum pressure of 30 bar.

Construction

The basic construction of cylinders is in accordance with Directive TPED 2010/35/UE and harmonized standards. Cylinders are made of carbon steel plates, coated with high quality paint coating in customer colour. Paint coating is covered by quality and durability warranty.

We offer a large range of coating systems according to customer requirement:

  • 1 Layer epoxy powder coating,
  • 2 layers powder coating (epoxy + polyester),
  • 3 layers (1 layer hot spray zinc + 1 layer powder epoxy + 1 layer powder polyester),
  • wet painting still possible.

Fittings

Standard / lightweight cylinders are equipped with the following fittings:

  • Valve with or without safety device,
  • Valve with manual hand wheel or click-on valve.

The following additional options are also available:

  • plastic handle,
  • steel handle,
  • steel collar/shroud,
  • metal protective cap.
